Delivering the website

Visiting the website involves processing technical connection data, including the IP address, time, requested address and information your browser sends about the browser and operating system. Our legitimate interest is the secure, stable and technically reliable delivery of this website.

Local resources and language

Fonts, images and the map illustration are served by this website. There are no external webfonts, embedded maps or automatically loaded social media. The website sets no cookies. When navigating between pages, the website may cache editorial content and its checksums in your browser's LocalStorage so that content is available again. These technical content caches contain no visitor identifier and can be removed by clearing the site's data in your browser. SessionStorage is not used during normal website use. Language selection and search filters use the URL. No advertising services are integrated.

Usage statistics with Plausible

We use the self-hosted web analytics software Plausible Analytics at plausible.oklabflensburg.de to statistically analyse use of this website and improve our services.

Your browser loads the analytics script from this service and sends pageviews including the visited URL and referring page. Depending on the measurement features enabled, the service may also record time spent, scroll depth, clicks on external links and file downloads together with the respective destination address. Fetching the script and sending analytics data also technically transmits the IP address and browser information to the analytics service operated by us.

In our configuration, Plausible does not set analytics cookies and does not store a persistent visitor identifier in your browser. The collected usage data is not used for advertising or for creating personalised advertising profiles.

The processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is privacy-friendly statistical analysis, identifying technical issues and improving our online services.

Where external hosting providers are involved in operating Plausible, they are engaged in accordance with the applicable data protection requirements. Analytics data is retained only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and in accordance with the retention configured for the service.

You may object to this processing under Article 21 GDPR on grounds relating to your particular situation. You can submit your objection to the controller identified in this privacy notice.

External links

The website links to project websites, GitHub, Mastodon and OpenStreetMap, among others. You access these services when you follow a link. Their respective providers' privacy information then applies.

Your rights
